Series two introduces Charlotte Watsford, a rival to Cleo, for dating Lewis shortly after Cleo had broken up with him. They soon adapt to their new abilities and lifestyles. The trio enlist the help of Cleo's friend Lewis McCartney to help them keep their secret and find out more about it.Įveryday situations, such as bathing and dealing with rainy weather, become tricky as the girls struggle with their newfound abilities, which come with many advantages and disadvantages, while also trying to keep them a secret from everyone else, including their families. This is an allusion to the show The Suite Life of Zack & Cody in the episode ' Rumors' when Cody Martin (Cole Sprouse) wants to change his look just like Emma and they both end up dyeing there hair red and they both see it and they both end up hating it.

Emma is caught by Zane, but because of the red dye, Zane doesn't know it's actually her.

Zane dives to Miss Chatham’s boat and sees a mermaid! While Zane gets closer to the secret, he also gets closer to Rikki. Emma needs a change so dyes her hair red. Zane thinks Miss Chatham holds the key to the sea monster.
